Owner & founder, Marta Alsdorf (In the Albany Business Review)

Vignette was founded in 2019 by owner Marta Beisinger Alsdorf, after years of working in the home decor industry. Her career began with her floral business, Marta’s Flowers, started in Lake Placid, NY during the early 90’s. After moving downstate, she worked in the Capital district as a visual merchandiser and decorator for a prominent gift store for nearly 20 years. During that time she also operated a home staging and house painting business, working with clients to prepare their homes for sale and sell off their estates. And so Vignette was born from the desire to use design to facilitate community, healing, and connection.
