Mug Monday

Welcome to Mug Monday!

I started to ponder and appreciate the mug- coffee or tea, all the different styles and why I like certain ones more than others. I seriously don’t have two of the same. My girls started collecting random single mugs from everywhere, whatever caught their fancy, that’s how it started. Now I understand individually this will vary, it’s personal preference. But have you ever thought about it? Why do you liked that certain mug, the one you always go for or fight over with others? Or even a mood mug, yup thats right, it fits your mood. Maybe you don’t care and that’s okay too. Let’s just have some fun and explore why this mug is a keeper……it’s light, well balanced because of the placement of the handle, a nice size, holds over a cup of coffee and room for milk if you like to add that. Now that’s an important feature, no one likes for the coffee to overflow because it’s too full. That’s just not a good start to the day. The bowed shape is appealing, easy to hold and the lip is slightly turned to be able to sip with little dribble. This mug is lovely, semi delicate, it makes you feel pretty just using it. And the “L” well I guess it’s probably a monogram of the owners first or last name, its definitely could be a Laura mug, but for me, it’s the Love mug. Lastly it is microwave and dishwasher safe, we know it’s a drag when they are not. No warm ups, noway. So that’s the low down, hope you enjoyed the commentary. You’re welcome to comment or chime in.
